Dear friends,

HIV testing among jail inmates is voluntary or mandatory? Is it

confidential? An inmate who undergoes such a test has the right to

know the result or it is the jail officials who are empowered to know

it?

In other words, what are the legal provisions for inmates of Jail as

far as HIV/AIDS is concerned?
