Guest guest
Hello I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I have been a Fallon follower for about four years. It has been in the last nine months, that I have been feeling sluggish, where my blood feels like it is running slow. I have had my blood pressure checked, cholestrol checked, blood sugar checked, iron levels checked, thyroid checked, and all is fine. I am only about 20 lbs overweight so nothing dramatic. In the last month I have needed to sleep lots, sleep during the day because I am so exhausted. My doctor wondered if I could be entering menopause, which could be as I do have some of the symptoms. I am very aware of what I eat and that I have to feed my body on about 6 small meals a day. But the thing that puzzles me is that after a good breakfast of oatmeal porridge with raisins, and kefir milk, that I still feel sluggish. Then I can take an advil, and an hour later, my sluggishness disappears (my blood feels like it is moving again), and I have a a decent amount of energy. In fact whenever I feel sluggish, and can't take it anymore (not just after eating), I take an advil, and I feel so much better. It almost feels like I have low blood circulation. But why would an advil solve my energy problem? And how can I reduce my reliance on advil? What could be going on? Gayle
Guest guest
There are numerous conditions that are associated with “thick blood”. Autoimmune disease, infectious diseases like Lyme's, toxic states like heavy metal or chemical toxicity, cardiovascular disease, MS, chronic fatigue, and fibromyalgia are just a few of these disorders. http://www.caringmedical.com/media/article.asp?article_id=513 Also, I am a big fan of Ozone Therapy as it seems to fix just about everything by scavenging for all molecules that should not be in your body with the extra O molecule which releases in your body. http://superiorhealthproducts.com/ sells a personal ozonator for $300 or so. -- W. Guest guest
Consider getting standard process wheat germ oil for it's vitamin e content. According to the article posted it should be good for thick blood issues.  Danny Holt From: Ferguson <sfergucla@...> Subject: Re:Some clues to my sluggishness? Guest guest
Only other Standard Process supplement you may want to consider is Symplex F. I read that their dessicated spleen can help with blood issues but I can't say if it helps with thickening blood. I couldn't find anything on it. Some blood issues are caused by excess lead but I can't say it causes thickening of the blood.  Danny Holt From: Ferguson <sfergucla@...> Subject: Re:Some clues to my sluggishness? Guest guest
This helps tremendously and does not have the side effects of Advil. http://www.iherb.com/EuroPharma-Terry-Naturally-Curamin-60-Capsules/21337?at=0 > > Along with the milk thistle this nattokinase will be good too as a superior alternative to advil or aspirin: > http://www.vitacost.com/Allergy-Research-Group-Nattokinase-100-mg-60-Softgels
