Phytase testing

Anyone know anything about testing for the presence of phytase?

I did some digging and found a study where they measured phytic acid levels

before and after.

Ideally a phytase test strip would do the trick, but I don't believe such a

thing exists.

I would think there is some need for this as phytase is common ingredient in

animal feed and since it's heat sensitive, you'd want to test for it to make

sure it's in there and still active.
