Guest guest
I had that metallic taste in my mouth. I stipped for a day or 2 and then did a large amount yester day ( 3 times my mormal 50) and then took half a tables spoon of Himalayan salt for the bromide detox and have not experienced the metallic taste. I am also taking sulfur so the taste was wird. Anyway, try this, and let us know if this does not resolve the problem. Guest guest
It sounds like the metallic taste is from the bromide detox since the iodine dose is so low. Guest guest
His dose is pretty low. I would be doing at least 25 mgs with a history of cancer - potentially 50 mgs. That's where I started. He is probably detoxing. Has he ever been one to drink Mt Dew or Gatorade? A lot of men love Mt Dew and this is toxic in bromide which is a classic detox item. Have him increase Vit C and unrefined salt and see if that helps. Guest guest
> I have been told by an alternative practitioner that a metallic taste > is the body's need for iodine. > Can anyone confirm this please? I had the metallic taste after about 6 months on 50 mg iodine? After being assured by Steph that it was just bromine detox,I kept going and in a few weeks it went away. Has not come back. Guest guest
They are also signs of bromide detoxing. Go to www.breastcancerchoices.org in the Iodine section and you will find a list of bromide detoxing symptoms. Steph Metallic Taste I have heard several times that a metallic taste and a runny nose are signs of taking too much iodine, and I'm there! Well I've been taking 50 mg daily (and I don't want to quit). Should I stop for a few days, then resume in a smaller dose? Or, what would be the protocol when you reach this point?Norma

Guest guest
Did you check all the pages and links? In any case i have adapted a single AA battery operated gas igniter as the high voltage sparks.it generates sparks 1/2 cm long continously when switch is held down...awesome... it only cost a pound. very poor people can disemble a electronic ciggertted lighter and use the piezo device to generate a spark... it only costs 20 pence. if you are really poor and can't afford 20 pence but can fford a pint then look in rubbish bins for discarded lighters or ask your uncle for one.Or ask the pub people. Last year a MULTI millionaire was killed by a bee when having a barbecue. His minions just stood around and his million dollar wealth could not save him.He was D.O.A on arrival to the hospital. He is DEAD DEAD DEAD. Amazing. A ultra powerful millionaire enclosed by security guards and sexy secreatarys and fences and sycophants and his expensive cars killed by a lowly bee. Guest guest
Hi, Shirley. I am taking a supplement from Swanson Vitamins to remove metals while doing my dental godzilla...just in case! bG > > It seems that mercury can saturate the gum tissue around teeth with such fillings. If, when the fillings or teeth are replaced or removed, a portion of the gum tissue that is saturated with metals, is also removed, then healing is more rapid than if this tissue is left in the mouth. This was perhaps from Huggins or --don't recall. If the saturation idea is correct, then maybe metals are being driven out of the tissue by the electricity. pj >

Guest guest
Hello, I have a friend who has started taking a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar mixed with water each morning. She has started experiencing a metallic taste to her food. She said the other day she had the acv with breakfast and noticed the taste, but she said the taste continued with lunch and then her afternoon snack. The same thing happened the next day. I've never had that happen to me before and I've had ACV for years. Does anyone know why she is experiencing a metallic taste to her food hours after drinking it? Is it normal? She doesn't want to take it anymore because she is afraid it might be harmful. Thanks, Judy
Guest guest
This is a pretty big list of things that can cause it: http://www.healthblurbs.com/many-causes-of-metallic-taste-metal-taste-in-mouth-a\ nd-taste-of-metal-in-your-mouth-symptoms/ or http://tinyurl.com/5zs95j One of them I noticed was hypercalcemia - maybe the vinegar is dissolving calcifications and that is causing a temporary high level of calcium? That's the one that jumped out at me. --- In , " laughingpeace " <laughingpeace@...> wrote: > > Hello, > > I have a friend who has started taking a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar mixed with water each morning.
