Guest guest
Hi Eden, I had the same thing happen to me with Helen. I kept emailing her to find out the status of my order (FOs from Lebermuth), but never received a reply. Only after I emailed listmom Becky did I get an email from Helen. It was rather curt, hinting that I was the one who had missed her email to me in response. (Not true. I went through days worth of emails stored in my personal filing cabinet ISO it) I'm not out to bash anyone, but I do have the right to question suppliers when spending my hard earned $$ with them. I'm also having repeated problems with another well known supplier who I have praised in the past. I know it's the busy season, but it's the busy season for me as well, and I count on receiving the supplies I have paid for in a timely manner. Sorry to vent, but this one really touched home with me. Guest guest
Hi everyone :-) Helen is just fine, she had to go to Wisconsin to help her in-laws move. I don't know when she will be getting back but I know Helen is not ignoring anyone on purpose. Cari :-) Sunshine Soapworks http://www.sunshinesoapworks.com Come in for the prices, stay for the quality. Mastercard and Visa accepted. > > I've tried to reach her by email with no luck. Guest guest
Maybe not but she told me she had a refund in the mail to me a week or more ago & I haven't recieved it yet. We have a buisness for 20 years & I don't think we have ever had a similar situation. It took literally weeks for her to respond to me and that was only after I contacted Becky on soapnuts.Helen is listmom 2 there. She was very rude to me.I am a firm believer that the best defence is an offence and I really don't know if I'll ever see my $50.- + $$$ I only asked a question. The status of my order... Guest guest
Kari, Maybe Becky wrote to her about both of us, and I was second.Because she was more than just curt , she TOLD me that I'd better look thru my e-mail... which I did.I am still frustrated and wonder who's out there besides us ?I've also had a problem with another well known supplier. She at least apoligised and sent my order immediately! I ordered from Helen of Serenity Gardens on Sept. 9th I paid with a postal money order to make the transaction smoother & faster. It wasn't a co-op. Guest guest
Hi Kathy, Gees woman...you really are having bad luck with your suppliers! Did everything end up okay with Vic. Greenhouse? I just wanted you to know that I finally got all of my stuff and I made the three most beautiful batches of soap!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited about doing this! Her tube molds work great and turn out quite lovely...you should try them! Boy, I hope you get everything straightened around with this other supplier. Your luck has just got to turn around with these suppliers! Sherry
Guest guest
Dear Helen, I don't think posting legitimate concerns regarding a co-op hostess to a public forum is in poor taste. All of this could have been prevented if Helen had dropped a quick note to one and all regarding the co-op status. It would have only taken two minutes of her time. Each of us have lives outside of soaping, but it's only right, fair and honest to fulfill our obligations as a hostess to our co-op participants. (Hence all the rules for hosting a co-op required on Helen's own list) This is the first time I've done business with Helen and don't have the luxury of knowing whether or not she is an honest business women as I'm sure is the same for others. We can only judge by our experiences with her thus far. Kari > Helen's younger sister has very serious medical problems. Helen went to > Wisconsin to be with her family. Guest guest
Helen's younger sister has very serious medical problems. Helen went to Wisconsin to be with her family. It is in very poor taste to post to a public list the comments that were posted yesterday. Instead of negative comments a showing of compassion is in order. I also, ordered from her co-op and subscribed to the magazine and intend to wait , as, I know Helen is a honest business person.
