Alan, in the begining I had a couple of hive looking spots on my lower leg one

day.  They went away.  I also had maybe three days of feeling like I had extra

acid in my stomach to where I was thinking of taking some tums for it.  Then

that passed.  I don't know if this helps.

Yesterday I overdid the exercise by walking close to 4 miles.  In the evening I

did a 45 min. barre workout which is very hard.  I didn't feel bad doing the

workouts.  Later I felt like my balance was off and more facial weakness around

bedtime.

Today is payback day something that happens when I push myself too hard. I

tried

to increase the walking to build endurance.  I guess I did too much to fast.

 I

have leg stength and arm strength, but it is weaker.  My balance is worse.  I

have napped today.  My husband and I walked 3 miles today.  It was slower but

my

legs worked well all the way.  My balance was off enough I needed to hold his

arm the whole way.  I did use a shower chair tonight for my shower for

safety.

My symptoms get worse towards the TOM and that is nearing.  I guess today is a

bit of payback day.  I won't do a workout tonight as I just feel tired today.

Subject: Prokarin Day 1

I decided to start the Prokarin patch. This is Day 1 so very early to comment. I

don't really notice anything better or worse in my typical MS symptoms, which

tend to vary anyway. I did not a few spots on my face, neck and body that appear

to have a small flushed appearance, so this may mean I am not reacting well.

Tomorrow I will call the compounding pharmacist and ask about it. I also got a

couple weird feelings in my gut, like an upset stomach feeling, which may or may

not be related, but I do think the small flushing spots are related. I am using

the " disc " so there isn't supposed to be any rashes. Perhaps when I put it on

though I touched it with my hand then touched my body and that's what's causing

the little red/flushing marks.
