Guest guest
Sometimes the stun gun doesn't kill the cow. This cow got it easy. Some others are still alive and when they're put through the production line that carves these cows up: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ja9_-NtdSOQ & has_verified=1 I support WAPF and organic pastured farms who have higher quality standards when it comes to preparing animals for meat.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dXx_ocntl6o & feature=related Here's a kosher killing of a cow http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MldlJVtBcfE & feature=related I don't know what's going on here. These people's meats are good: http://www.texasgrassfedbeef.com/id84.htm#q__i_need_no_sales_job http://www.texasgrassfedbeef.com/ Obviously a organic pastured farm is going to take better care of their livestock. They're going to hire better quality workers and they're going to employ better standards. http://www.grandin.com/ : These are apparently the best standards to use when slaughtering animals. Good quality farms make sure the cow is dead before they start cutting it up. The second video was a kosher kill and I don't know if the one in the third video is even legal. The first video brings concern to me because I am under the impression the cow was previously shot with a bolt gun and still lived to experience this torture. A good quality farm makes sure they're dead before they start cutting the trachea, etc. Kosher farms cut the cow's trachea while they're alive and let them suffer for a couple minutes, so I would stay away from their meat. http://www.motherearthnews.com/nature-community/the-truth-about-vegetarianism.as\ px This article has some good information. I got this article from another group. I can see both sides of the arguments for vegetarianism vs. meat eating. A vegetarian/vegan has a lot of heart and a meat eater can be somewhat oblivious to the issue. But vegetarians can be oblivious to certain issues too as this article m...akes very clear. I wouldn't choose one side, but a vegetarian is going to be much healthier than a vegan. There is the issue that children of vegans can come out with mental deficiencies, and so they should look at that or see a professional to see what steps would need to be taken to prevent that. Maybe they will decide to adopt instead. Then again an oblivious meat eater that consumes lots of soy, gmo, diseased meat is going to have a lot of issues themselves and there is just as good a chance their children may come out with mental deficiencies too. A high quality WAPF like based diet is ideal, even if you're vegan. Higher quality organic produce, raw milk, and eggs from pastured chickens. This is if you don't want the meat. Full fat milk, don't go skim milk. It's better to be aware and support better agriculture otherwise in the future our system will continue to go downhill. They should have an extra gun ready if a cow is conscious and use it on them. They've got deadlines and they're just going to carve it up so have them use a gun. Some of them think it's just a nervous twitch but the cow was obviously still alive. Even if they think it's just a nervous twitch they should use the gun on them again.
