Buckwheat - Hulled Phytase

Does anyone know if the phytase in buckwheat is located in the hull? Do I need

to use whole buckwheat for soaking to obtain a high phytase liquid? You can't

eat whole buckwheat groats as the hulls are pretty tough, so you wouldn't be

able to eat the soaked grain but you could use it in soaking. I prefer to use

hulless buckwheat for everything but will get small amount of dehulled if I

must.

Thanks,
