I agonized over my pipe choice for ages- it was probalby the most difficult

decision I had to make when it came to the house. Ultimately, we went with PEX--

itwas a lot cheaper than stainless steel (which I wanted) or HDPE, which is

still pretty unattainable due to price and supply issues, and it's a lot

healthier than PVC and about at the same price point. Our drain pipes are still

PVC since we wouldn't be drinking used water (obviously).

Yes, I have heard many times that copper pipes cause lots of health

problems. They replace them and their health starts to improve. Too much

copper is not good.

She needs to redo the pipes.
