Guest guest
I agonized over my pipe choice for ages- it was probalby the most difficult decision I had to make when it came to the house. Ultimately, we went with PEX-- itwas a lot cheaper than stainless steel (which I wanted) or HDPE, which is still pretty unattainable due to price and supply issues, and it's a lot healthier than PVC and about at the same price point. Our drain pipes are still PVC since we wouldn't be drinking used water (obviously). From: mkathryn59@... Date: Sat, 3 Jul 2010 13:52:07 +0000 Subject: Re: Copper Pipes ! Yes, I have heard many times that copper pipes cause lots of health problems. They replace them and their health starts to improve. Too much copper is not good. She needs to redo the pipes. > > Please someone have an answer to this one. > My sister is about to redo her pipes and she was told copper was it. > Copper causes heart problems doesn't it? > > We need a tiny amount but more than that is bad.
