Hello Has anyone from europe managed to get blood samples to Igenex labs? I gav

up dealing with the FDA for paperwork and have heard that even some shipments

with correct paperwork were impounded as hazardous in customs.

NONE of the Lyme Disease (aka borreliosis) tests are accurate, especially the

standard ELISA tests our front line physicians use.

Prominent Lyme Doc Burrascano reports tests from IgeneX to be the best. He also

recommends having CD57 tests run.

The longer we have been sick, the less reliable any of the tests are.

Ask specifically for a test from IgeneX and a Lab Corp CD57 test. You and or

the neurologist may have to get help interpreting the list of numbers (weights

of fragments in kilo-daltons).

In regards to treatment, I am looking at a very likely PICC line to bring in

intravenous antibiotics. My Lyme Disease has compromised my GI tract, making

oral antibiotics ineffective. Last month start intramuscular antibiotics which

are demonstrating slight, brief, benefit.

Once the disease has been in us a while, it burrows into our cells and evades

our immune systems, and therefore no antibodies are produced. If we have no

antibodies, the tests can not detect the infection.
