Guest guest
That is why I am probably going to try CCSVI and Prokarin. Not because I think they are the " end-all " in cures but I have been working naturally and alternatively for 5 years now, including LDN, various diets, having all the metals removed from my mouth, seeing natural energy healers, FAR saunas and many other techniques. I have yet to find anything that made a major improvement and I have gotten slightly worse over the 5 years. That is why I am probably going to try one or both of these two things. I am going into it optimistically but also with critical thinking, realizing, as I've stated before that each of these protocols invariably work for some and not others, and that's just the way it is unfortunately. It would be easier if there were a one-size-fits-all protocol that we could all do and it would work for all of us. ________________________________ To: mscured Sent: Tue, March 29, 2011 5:08:46 PM Subject: Re: Email Response from Dr. Woeller~Prokarin To each his own. I'm going to try it before I dismiss it. I don't want to be in a wheelchair for the rest of my life if I have an opportunity to try something that might help me walk. $230/month is not expensive, especially if it works. The first month is free. This IS being involved in my treatment! How is this different than trying LDN, which did absolutely nothing for me except make my legs stiff? I would not have known that had I not tried it. > > I hate to be a " Kiljoy " but this sure looks and sounds like many other that I >have seen ... Guest guest
The pharmacy said that it can be covered is it is broken down to the two ingredients. I hope you get it approved. I would appeal it if you get good results during the first month. Talk to the pharmacy to see what suguestions they have. ________________________________ To: mscured Sent: Tue, March 29, 2011 5:45:46 PM Subject: Re: Re: Email Response from Dr. Woeller~Prokarin  That is great news Joy. It is interesting because I have blue cross also but they have declined anything that is not FDA approved for a specific condition and from a compounding pharmacy. They did not pay for my LDN or compounded hormones. I will check if they would pay for the Prokarin, but based on what I've had so far, it will be a no. I guess each state's plan is different. I have BCBS for my particular state, rather than a national plan, so that is probably what allows them to set their own rules. ________________________________ To: mscured Sent: Tue, March 29, 2011 8:21:41 PM Subject: Re: Re: Email Response from Dr. Woeller~Prokarin  Hi everyone. I contacted the pharmacy in wa. My insurance is going to cover the prokarin patches. The copay for me is 45$. I have blue cross.
Guest guest
If anyone knows if CCSVI is covered in N. Ca or who is doing it please let me know links. I would be intrested in the future if this doesn't keep working. Stanford stopped studies due to a few deaths. ________________________________ To: mscured Sent: Tue, March 29, 2011 5:42:04 PM Subject: Re: Re: Email Response from Dr. Woeller~Prokarin  That is why I am probably going to try CCSVI and Prokarin. Guest guest
You do have to keep the patch refrigerated !!! You can only keep it out of the fridge for 7-10 days. Heat breaks down the histamine. It says so in the instructions. ________________________________ To: mscured Sent: Sun, April 3, 2011 7:40:12 PM Subject: Re: Email Response from Dr. Woeller~Prokarin  The patch is actually a ready to apply disc. It was originally a tube of cream that had to be refrigerated and applied to a patch. Refrigeration is not necessary for the newer product. I used Skip's when I took LDN. Skip talked with me when I had questions. Very personable pharmacy. I don't know if they do Prokarin. Ask them the next time you order LDN. > > Anybody try Skip's in Boca Raton. He is our favorite LDN Compounder. Guest guest
Raving about the prokarin results. Yesterday I walked the 3.15 mile trail and my speed improved along with my gait. The last .5 mile usually leaves me very fatigued to the point I need assist at times. Yesterday I did the whole thing without assist. My balance improved so much more. My feet did not drag at all. My muscles engaged very well in my legs when I went up hills. I was able to run up the hill part way as a test of the improvement. I did not need assist getting in the car after walking. The down time afterwards is none. I don't need to rest after walking now. Today I walked about 3.75 miles. I carried the cane most of the way on my shoulder !!! I barely touched it to the ground when I walked. I didn't need it to support or help me balance hardly at all. Again I was able to maintain a brisk pace. I was able to lift my leg without my arms getting in to the car. Before I would have to sit and lift the leg in. Each day there are imporvements. It was windy. Normally I can't balance in the wind. A gust would blow me off the pathways with a really bad chance of falling. Now I don't have that issue. I can balance in the wind no matter which direction it blew from. I walked farther today. I continue to be amazed and thrilled with the progress. Oh, headaches are gone. Spasitity continues to remain gone. No bladder issues. Bowels improved. No more slurred speech. Today I bent over during the walk and retied my shoes without worrying about loosing my balance or getting dizzy. Before I couldn't do that I would get very dizzy and tip over. My husband had to tie my shoes for me. My vision is not blurring when I get warm when I walk. I have the ability to prespire when we walk. I couldn't prespire much before. ________________________________ To: mscured Sent: Tue, March 29, 2011 2:08:46 PM Subject: Re: Email Response from Dr. Woeller~Prokarin  To each his own.
