Guest guest
How is everyone doing on Prokarin these days?Janet To: mscured From: yourbeamofsunshine@... But since the prokarin, after maybe 3 months I rarely use the bioness as it has helped improve the foot drop that much. I also had it starting on my other leg and that is gone. Guest guest
Did not help. May have made things worse, but I've climbed back out. --- Janet Orchard schrieb am Do, 15.9.2011: Von: Janet Orchard Betreff: RE: Re: Prokarin (was Bioness L 300) An: " mscured " <mscured > Datum: Donnerstag, 15. Guest guest
I am stable on the Prokarin. I don't have flares all the time like I used to. I have been doing workouts inside the house since its hot where I live instead of doing lots of walking. My legs feel stronger. I do have good, bad days mostly triggered by menstration. However last month during that time I increased the prokarin and it helped to decrease the symptoms. I will try it again this month to see if that is all I need to do to overcome increased ms symptoms at that time of month. I have used ampyra for leg strength in the past before prokarin. It was helpful, but not as much as prokarin is. I would have severe migraines with the ampyra. None since I stopped. I pray they always have prokarin available for me. Oh, I found an easy dvd to do that helps to relieve pain. I was very impressed. Yesterday was my first time with it. Everything is done on the floor so it is perfect for me and it did not require lots of effort. It increased my range of motion and it took away the sciatic pain that I have had since April. Its called Gentle yoga through somatic exploration. If anyone wants to know the site let me know. It did relieve the neck and shoulder tension also. Later in the evening I did feel increased soreness in my back for a bit due to overstretching. It felt like I was releasing toxins. It was worth doing again as the sciatica is gone, it improved my range of motion, overall my neck and shoulders feel much better. Subject: RE: Re: Prokarin (was Bioness L 300) To: mscured Date: Thursday, September 15, 2011, 1:39 PM  Did not help. Guest guest
Pamela, I am NOT doing great on Prokarin, in fact I have never even tried it.I was just monitoring it to see if anyone other than Joy was having success. I gave myself 12 months before I would try anything new, after having had CCSVI treatment last October.I am still doing well on that, and feel I don't have " MS " any more but still have residual problems where nerves had probably died. I still have no balance but other than my right leg from the knee down and my hip area, all seems to be pretty much back to normal. ý10 months since CCSVI treatment. The other week I managed to get out of the pool after one of my marathon swims, onto my wheelchair, then up the steps to the front door ALL BY MYSELF. (Normal routine is - hauled out, put in chair, then my husband has to manually move one foot up 8 steps for me most days.) Rang the doorbell for him to go down and get my chair and it nearly gave him a heart attack!Hope you are doing well.Janet To: mscured From: pamcastro@...
