Guest guest
If you have constipation you might want to use another form of magnesium, like the citrate form, instead of mag. glycinate which does not loosen stools like the other forms. Do a search on the internet. Jan C wrote:  I have tried many brands of probiotics and the ones I found work the best are from custom probiotics (www.customprobiotics.com). When you call they can recommend which strasins are best for you. I have no financial interest in this company. They have made a huge difference for me. Also use magnesium glycinate for constipation. jan From: aly ashour <aly_ashour_1980@...> To: low dose naltrexone Sent: Fri, April 1, 2011 5:53:49 AM Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Probiotics  Hi All, I had MS 8 years ago and I want to know if someone has tried any good brand of Probiotic, I made my search and tried Now 3 Billion but it made me constipated, though I appreciate any advice of any good brand that I can take with LDN Thanks and Best regards Aly Ashour
Guest guest
Or combat it with psyllium? That's what I am doing anyway and so far it works. Guest guest
Very much agree with your statements here. Aloe juice does wonders for the intestinal system. And everyone needs to drink drink drink pure water, and especially if taking extra fiber. Since the LDN, my IBS symptoms are mostly abated. No more swings between constipation and diarrhea. For many years I took psyllium husk capsules to have control, now I'm doing mostly well without it (knocking wood). Of course that is also a reflection of my diet, which includes a lot of greens and vegetables from my home garden. -- At 05:09 PM 4/1/2011, you wrote: >there are a lot of health food stores that insist the only probiotics that >work are the kind that are in the fridge -thats the hype. >i also recommend aloe juice just like 30 cc 's in the evening for a few >weeks to help heal the gut. >and if your taking fiber you must drink drink drink >cyndi >On Apr 1, 2011, at 12:23 PM, Baker wrote: > >>I'm not sure what " hype " about the refrigerator you are referring to, but >>unless a probiotic product is specifically formulated not to require it, >>the product will require refrigeration or it will lose potency. >> >>The pearl-type products are formulated not to require >>refrigeration. Guest guest
Psyllium is good, but best to get it without sugar or some chemical sweetener. You can buy it in capsule form that has nothing but psyllium. Easy to take as well. lucretia1419 wrote: > Or combat it with psyllium?
