Guest guest
dear dudley  appreciate content of your email, and with the greatest respect, what are your qualifications?  regards peter To: mscured Sent: Tuesday, 6 September 2011, 18:45 Subject: LDN - Jayne and  Jayne and , I have tremendous respect for Dr. Zagon. His credentials are impeccable, and he has conducted extensive research regarding LDN, much of which has been published in prestigious journals. However, if the truth be known, Dr. Zagon is an academician, not a medical doctor. His work has been primarily in the laboratory with rodents, and what applies to animals does not necessarily apply to human beings. Therefore, when his views conflict with medical doctors in clinical practice treating patients with LDN, I am inclined to adhere to the views of the medical professionals. If you or anyone else wants to abide by what Dr. Zagon says, that's fine with me. However, in my opinion, he is not the final authority on all things related to LDN. Guest guest
Hi Dudley, With greatest respect to yourself and helping spread the word about LDN which has helped so many, Dr Zagon does work with human beings. He is the Professor who introduced LDN to Dr Bihari and when Dr Bihari's patients weren't doing so well on LDN, Dr Bihari referred them back to Dr Zagon who recommended they reduce their dose to 3mg and fortunately LDN started working well for them again. Dr Zagon has done over 250 studies with LDN and has been involved in the trials held by Penn State for LDN (clinical trials) and still helps so many via email, phone consultations (for no fee) etc. There's definitely a place for both but at the moment I would say Dr Zagon is the one who is the most knowledgeable about LDN after all with clinicians a lot of it is guesswork as some have confirmed to us and they're qualified to do so. However you can't ignore Dr Zagon's latest findings. As Dr Zagon says - if we all knew what it was we were doing, it wouldn't be called research would it?
