Guest guest
Yes. Am familiar with sphingolin and it's myelin rebuilding nature. Only thing is I haven't had a recent MRI to say with any degree of certainty whether or not my lesions have gotten any smaller since starting my homeopaths version. I will say to keep in mind that both my alternative meds MD and Homeopath agree it can rebuild Myelin and it's crucial that it be taken sublingually by opening the capsule to pour out contents under your tounge...YUCK!!! My homeopath who is also a registered pharmacist creates his own lozenger version for me and flavors it. Cherry is my chosen flavor and it makes a world of difference in reference to taste. www.eric'snaturalpharmacy.com Now in addition to having no recent imaging, I was also diagnosed with Bb Lyme Disease in Aug. My LLMD says based on the IgG, IgM numbers he believes I was infected 3-5 yrs ago which coincidently I was dxsd with MS in Oct '06. Why is that important? Because I may not have MS at all. Lyme leaves lesions just as MS does and can have identical symptoms as well as identical CSF banding. I originally started Sphingolin to address lesions when all I thought I had was MS. I still take it now that I know there's a Lyme piece to the puzzle. So, to repair myelin damage caused by MS, Lyme, or whatever, I use Sphingolin....sublingually. Hope that helps ;o) -M
Guest guest
Do you have a good source of info on sphingolin. Would it be used for CMT?
Guest guest
I feel like I have stabilized lateley and am interested in the idea of Sphingolin for rebuilding myelin. Does anyone else have a Shingolin story to share, dit it help, hurt, or do nothing? Are there other ways to rebuild Myelin? Thanks Zoe > > Do you have a good source of info on sphingolin. Guest guest
Has anyone used Sphingolin (is myelin basic protein (MBP) from bovine spinal cord myeln protein) for MS?
Guest guest
Yes. My md recommended it to rebuild myelin. He suggests taking sublingual by emptying capsul under toung. YUCK....tastes really bad. So I have my natural pharmacist make it into a lozenger thats cherry flavored. -M
