Delhi: Vacancy- Counselor cum Peer Support Worker

Greetings from Delhi Mahila Samithi (DMS).

Delhi Mahili Samithi (DMS) is the State Women Forum of Delhi Network of Positive

People (DNP+) was formed to improve the quality of life of women and children

living with HIV in Delhi and reduce vulnerabilities to HIV for women, girls and

childrenâ€.

DMS is currently operating a Drop In Center (DIC) for women living with HIV

(WLHIV) in Lado Sarai, South Delhi supported by the Delhi State AIDS Control

Society (DSACS). DMS provides counseling and peer support to WLHIV apart from

Outreach, advocacy and networking. DMS also conducts a monthly support group

meeting for WLHIV.

DMS is looking for a suitable candidate to fill in the vacancy for the post of

Counselor cum Peer Support Worker. Applicants must be a woman living with HIV

with atleast one year experience as Counselor/peer support worker in the field

of HIV/AIDS, atlease XII passed, should be able to read and write Hindi with

good communication skills.

Monthly Salary will be Rs. 5000/- per month.
