Guest guest
lost 4 pounds WOW! She is the only one that has been exercising also. We had two eggs lean canadian bacon and a slice of whole wheat toast for our Sat morning breakfast. That sure tasted great. That is a meal that they suggest only one time a week. > > Hey Ed, how come we didn't hear anything about your weigh-in today? > > Was it the malted balls? Guest guest
Count me in Ed. I am a huge chocolate fan. Never been known to turn down a slice of cheese either! We have dear friends who are BOAR's Head distributers. He brings me their Havarti Dill Cheese. Excellent stuff! Ever tried it? Guest guest
I know he was thinking the conduction tests indicated a problem in the neck. But he's still not sure of anything. They'll probably refer me out on the 12th. I wonder though, if the pred does a nice job, will they just come up with a diagnosis out of thin air? Guest guest
Oh Ed...I doubt they'll come up with something out of thin air...that would have happened by now if that were the case. I think you have them mighty " balled up, " and wondering what you are!! I bet you'll have several things cooking in your diagnosis...it would seem most of us do... What a club you've joined!! Guest guest
Chocolate is a vegetable, remember??? Sure you want to have veggies for breakfast? And yes, drink milk and eat something before the pred. Take some extra calcium, too...in fact, I'd call the doc and ask if you shouldn't be on a calcium pill like fosamax before you take the Pred...it leaches out prednisone from our bones lickety split...so take your calcium, please! Guest guest
But didn't you say you called the rheumy, too, to inform him of what the neuro was giving you?? I'm curious about the rheumy's take on that high dose of pred, then zooming it down by 60 mg. Feeling real happy yet?? You might get so euphoric, you'll probably be a little manic! Wow, had better have those Nestle crunch bars ready! Lynn --- bmcm_eod wrote: > It was the neuro who gave it to me, and in his > standard mysterious > fashion, didn't tell me what to expect.
