Step 1 - Corner cat in bathroom.

Step 2 - Open toilet lid.

Step 3 - In one swift movement, swoop up cat and throw in toilet.

Step 4 - Slam lid, squirt 2 tsp of dishwashing detergent.

Step 5 - Flush twice.

Step 6 - From around a corner, lift lid with broomhandle.

Cat is now clean. Mad as hell, but clean!!!

Lee - I've been away for a few days too. In fact, was going ask what had become

of you. So far as I can tell -- haven't gone in for an ekg -- I'm still in nsr.

Heart rate is a little fast -- around 106 whenever I check my blood pressure.

That's usually shortly after smoking a cigarette, however, so that may be

speeding it up. About ready to try quitting again. How's by you Lee?

Cardioversion rescheduled? Changed doctors?

I got 2 docs now one seems to be good and the other ok I should be scheduled

in about a week to have a conversion.I think I will be fine in or out of

a-fib as it doesn't affect my life all that much. My heart function is about

40 to 45 % I think that is supposed to be pretty good. I have on surgeon who

wants to put in a mechanical valve because it is leaking. I think I will

work on the a-fib part first then worry about the valve.

Lee, I " think " I read on the CC web site that they won't do a

mechanical valve or heart bypass surgery on a person with afib unless

they do a Maze procedure at the same time. They are having great

success with this Maze thing < " a 98% success rate in " lone atrial

fibrillation " patients and a 90 % success rate overall. Late freedom

from stroke has been over 99%. " > and if I ever needed another CABG I

would definitely insist on the Maze at the same time.

Please read this:

Lee - Always best to start with the most simple approach and work up to the more

complicated if necessary, in my humble opinion. Glad you've got some doctors

you're more comfortable with. Best of luck. And keep us informed.
