Hi...

I tried high dose fish oil after I first read The Zone books years ago. I agree

that you do have to follow his diet outlined in the text to achieve optimal

benefits. I don't follow a strict diet anymore... I am blaming my toddler. : )

But I still do eat a very healthy diet and take high doses of fish oil, vitamin

D and a couple of other things, and I am doing amazingly well. Neuros gave me a

very poor prognosis, and I have gotten so much better without any MS drugs. Yay!

: ) Like many on this list, I feel that it is difficult to attribute success to

one thing when we do so many. But, in my experience, fish oil is certainly worth

a try. Best of luck to you, and I am always happy answer any questions! Have a

great day!

Best regards,

Jana

And, that is only the beginning of what it can do, if you have a good

practitioner.  The practitioner should take pulses in both wrists at the same

time, using all four fingers.  This tells them where the imbalances are and

what meridian to work on.  And that doesn't even cover the herbs.  But, if you

want it to be worth you effort, I would highly reccomend Five Branches.  It is

a teaching institution.  I would not get herbs from anyone else.

Speaking of Chinese med, I recently did acupuncture and found it helpful for

reducing pain and increasing energy.

I used to live on the southern end of the bay.  But, I am sorry, my naturopath

was in AZ, not Ca.

I was too afraid of it to try it then.  You might try my homeopath.  Seems to

me

he may have suggested it.  Dr. Rosett in Salinas.  He is an md who did not

like medicine after he got into it.  There had to be a better way, he

decided and went back into homeopathy.

Have you tried Chinese Medicine?  Second question, if you have and it didn't

work who did you go to?  It makes a big difference. I found a lot of help from

Five Branches traditional Chinese medicine in Santa Cruz

Hi Zoe, Good question.  A person would have to track the jet stream and compare

that with migratory patterns.  I think, but am not certain so don't take my

word for it, that the jet stream may have gone up to Alaska.  But, if one could

stock up on the canned, which would be from last year's harvest....

Hi...

Sorry I haven't checked messages in awhile. : ) To answer your questions... I

take high dose fish oil, but not as much as I once did, or as much as Sears

recommends. I take 3000mg of Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon Oil by Vital Choice and

1800mg of Nordic Naturals DHA. I do eat an insane amount of wild salmon now,

which is why I have
