Guest guest
In the US, a Vitamin B12 deficiency is one of the conditions an MD needs rule out before pronouncing a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis. http://www.nationalmssociety.org/about-multiple-sclerosis/do-i-have-ms/other-con\ ditions-your-doctor-needs-to-rule-out/index.aspx Dr ph Chandy, the doctor in the video, seems to be asserting that the minimum acceptable level of B12 is variable with regard to individual patients. In other words, what is a minimum acceptable level of B12 for one person may be a " deficient " level of B12 in the blood of another. B12 deficeniency seems to be a condition brought on by an inability to absorb vitamin B12 from food. The injections bypass the digestive tract so malabsorption is no longer an issue. The NHS set the standard for the minimal level of B12 in the blood based on averages. That " standard " however does not take into account individual differences. (Your minimum B12 requirement might be different than my minimum B12 requirement.) B12 injections are relatively inexpensive, are easy to administer, and pose very few (if any) health risks. Is modern medicine focused on helping individual patients or is it focused on pharmaceutical companies making a profit? Guest guest
if you are concerned about your b-12 levels you can order this blood test yourself and get the results mailed back to you, no doctor. http://www.lef.org/Vitamins-Supplements/ItemLC000810/Vitamin-B12-and-Folate-Bloo\ d-Test.html

Guest guest
Hi , LDN is supposed to be taken in the evening, just before bed for maximum effect. http://www.lowdosenaltrexone.org/index.htm#How_does_LDN_work_ scroll down the page a bit. Guest guest
I think anyone getting b-12 should probably get the methylcobalamin version which seems to be the version of b-12 that is active for nerves and the brain. Alot of the positive research has been done using this methyl version versus the common cyanocobalamin version.
Guest guest
All, what about hydroxycobalamin? I know methyl is as of know the superior type but there are 4 types of B12 and they all have purposes. The methyl of course does not require methylation anymore. Thoughts? Guest guest
Hi, Just a note on Reservatrol - for some people it causes numbness and pain in the arms, legs hands etc etc. - just do a google to check this. ....In my wife's case this is sooo true. Over the last several years we have tried allsorts of forms of reservatrol from pills to dried form, different brands, superior forms etc etc and each time it has resulted in either her foot or hand going numb for a number of days/weeks. Reservatrol is meant to be a superior anti-oxidant but it may not suit all, so just be careful. But if you don't try you won't know! Cheers, Pinda PS For those who do drink alcohol (or don't) Red wine has a small amount of Reservatrol in it, and with this minuscule amount my wife does not have any problems. On the contrary, a couple of glass's of Cabnernet Sauvigon every other evening appears to be the only thing that lessens the spasms the next day. > > all us msers are diferent, i take 3mg ldn in the morning, plus doc wants me on: > baclofen 10mg 3 x a day > clonazepam .5mg 3 x night > pregabalin 50mg 2 x a day > fed up with the meds and gradually getting off them [not the ldn, get scrip from my doc and then from dicksons] > Â > also researched Resveratrol, you know this, this supplement is promoted by dicksons chemist and on their www

Guest guest
Maybe it is not deficiency, maybe it is pharmacological action of b12 given in larger doses.
