There are 34 district level networks that are currently partners of NMP+, with a total membership of 23750 positive people across the state as on September 2008. NMP+ is impacting their target group (PLHIV) by; Advocacy Network Building Service Delivery NMP+ is affiliated to the national level network Indian Network For People Living With HIV (INP+). Through the Secretariat and its member organizations and networks, INP+ is involved with major government and donor participants in the HIV response in India. In the last years NMP+ had grown drastically and focussed on becoming a network that covers all districts in Maharashtra. Now that this goal is achieved, the focus has changed to quality on services, procedures & systems and its people. NMP+ is currently looking for enthusiastic people that want to become a part of the committed team in Pune. For this position we are looking for a candidate with more than 5 years experience in program management in the field of HIV/ AIDS. HR and Finance Manager: · Report to the Treasurer on all financial and administration issues at the state and district network and project levels; · Implement the HR policy and practice of INP+ at the state level; · Manage the HR and Finance team · Financial and administrative planning at the state network and project levels along with the Treasurer · End responsible for the financial systems and reports of the District Level Networks · Prepare monthly financial reports for submission to INP+ · Maintain system at the state level network including filing, stationary store and maintaining asset register; For this position we are looking for a candidate with at least 2 years of management experience in a HR/ Finance department. State Advocacy Officer (till March 2009) for the AVAHAN Project: · Fine-tune the state specific advocacy strategy and action plan at the state level through a consultative process with INP+ and Board members of district level networks; · Develop advocacy plans with technical support and guidance of the National Advocacy Officer and State Program Managers; · Implement structured advocacy activities at the state level with support from the State Program Managers and the National Advocacy Officer; · Provide support for formation and registration of newly affiliated district networks with guidance from the State Board; · Provide support to the district level networks to plan and implement advocacy activities to address stigma and discrimination in work place and health care settings; and · Undertake periodic reviews and monitor advocacy activities at the state and district level. For this position we are looking for a HIV positive candidate with knowledge about advocacy strategies in the field of HIV/AIDS. State Women's Forum Coordinator (till March 2009) for the AVAHAN Project: · Provide leadership in governance matters and coordinate all the activities of the women's forums at the state level; · Facilitate monthly planning and support group meetings for women members of the forums; · Plan and implement state level consultation meetings on women and children's issues related to HIV/AIDS with technical support from the NWF and National Women's Coordinator; · Provide support to the district level networks for formation and technical support to district women's forums; · Network with state level stakeholders to raise funds to address women and children's issues at the state; and · Provide periodic updates to the NWF and NWFC and the National Women's Coordinator on monthly plans and activities. For this position we are looking for a HIV positive candidate with knowledge of women issues in the field of HIV/AIDS. Jr. Accountant · Report to the HR and Finance Manager on all financial and administration issues at the state and district network and project levels; · Ensure fund allocation for project specific activities; · Assist the district level networks in setting-up and maintaining financial, accounting and administrative systems; · Monitor accounting systems at the state and district level networks; · Review financial reports from the district level networks; · Release funds to the district level networks for project related activities in consultation with the HR and Finance Manager; · Maintain system at the state level network including filing, stationary store and maintaining asset register; and · Maintain petty cash and vouchers. For this position we are looking for graduate in accountancy or a diploma. Social Worker for the AVAHAN Project: · GIPA: Coordinate the capacity building workshops for the representatives of SLNs, SACS, DAPCUs and TSUs on GIPA in Maharashtra · Income Generation Programs (IGPs): o Collate information on various local institute that providing free or low cost skill based training for PLHIV in the respective states o Identify PLHIV interested in skill based trainings from the DLNs o Develop good linkage and rapport with the local training institute and other stakeholders such as ILO who are interested in livelihood options among PLHIV o Organize for PLHIV identified for the program to be trained by the local training institutes o Identify and operationalize the procurement of bank loans for starting specific IGPs at state level o Document the model and lessons learnt for show-casing with NACO and other USG partners · Legal redressal mechanisms: o Collate and document information on issues of stigma and discrimination and legal right issues from the DLNs o Prepare case studies on rights violation and compile state/district level advocacy briefs and submit the same to the Project Manager of INP+ o Coordinate the state level public hearing in the respective states with assistance from the Project Manager of INP+ · Insurance: o Develop state feasibility and assessment plan for replication of the STAR insurance scheme for PLHIV in Karnataka through UPNP+. · Reporting: Submission of descriptive monthly report to the Project Manager of INP+ For this position we are looking for a candidate with a master in Social Work.
