I was making a lot of soups during my pureed stage. I would start with some

canned chicken stock and add some of my favorite veggies, like onions or

cabbage or carrots or winter squash or sweet potato, or maybe some black

beans or kidney beans, sometimes some baby food chicken. When the veggies

had cooked till soft I stuck my little blender in the cup and made it

smooth. The important thing was that I added stuff with lots of flavor. I

too wanted chinese and had my husband get me wonton soup, I took the meat

out of the skins, threw away the skins and blended up the rest, yum. I also

blended up some chili and added sour cream, yum. One thing I learned to

watch out for was cheese in soup, when melted it became like chewing gum & I

just couldn't chew it well enough. Good luck, and good eating, b.

--Wasn't chili too spicy? I was actually wondering this, do we have

to only eat bland stuff during our pureed stage??

Thanks
