Hi Pam (and apologies to for misspelling her name),

No, there is no point to having it done again. The last time I had it, the

doctor found that my veins were open. There were no blockages to fix.

This was an experieced Dr (Arata at Pacific Interventionalists) who knew what

to look for. It cost $8000 and hotel/car expenses. My insurance did not cover

it. The two previous times were out of the country, so about $15,000 each. I

used up my savings, because I figured quality of life in old age was more

important than the money.

It is more accessible now than it was last year, and more well understood.

If you are under 30 and diagnosed within the last 5 years you may have better

luck. I was 48 amd diagnosed in 1997.

Hi

It's no probs - most people misspell it as they're in too much of a hurry to

notice spellings of others' names......I'm used to it but feel it's only gd

manners for me to let people know.
