Guest guest
Are you SURE she meant your actual kidney. Was she talking about your kidney meridian? That is often confusing. They might say liver for example. But they mean liver meridian. Meridians are the channels for the chi. Subject: acupuncture To: mscured Date: Tuesday, June 21, 2011, 11:15 PM  She did the pulses and said my left kidney is not working. ________________________________ To: mscured Sent: Mon, June 20, 2011 7:23:58 AM Subject: Re: Re: High Dose Fish Oil  And, that is only the beginning of what it can do, if you have a good practitioner. The practitioner should take pulses in both wrists at the same time, using all four fingers. This tells them where the imbalances are and what meridian to work on. And that doesn't even cover the herbs. But, if you want it to be worth you effort, I would highly reccomend Five Branches. It is a teaching institution. I would not get herbs from anyone else. Guest guest
The acupunturist/DOM said my left kidney was not working at all but that my right kidney was working normally. She said I needed a kidney cleanse. Next time I see her I will ask again. She based this on pulses. I do feel acupuncture helped and am looking forward to going more often but it is expensive! She said the best would be to come once per week for a month or two than go down to once every two weeks and eventually once per month. Unfortunately, on a different topic, I meant to write a recent post directly to Tim Loftus, but I accidentally sent it to the MSCured group instead. Oh well. No harm done I hope. I am off to Hawaii for a much-needed vacation, so life goes on! Guest guest
They can pick up a lot from the pulses. It is amazing. Sounds like she did mean kidney. I have met a lot of people who come out of accupuncture dismayed that now they have a kidney or liver or gallbladder problem, when in fact it is the meridians. Is you accupuncturist also a medical person? Sounds like perhaps that is the case. TCM doctors will say kidney such and such and mean the meridian. Guest guest
Hi and thank you Silent Partner, This acupuncture is new to me. The practitioner is a Doctor of Oriental Medicine. I found her randomly, which may not be the best way, but I have felt better since the treatment. When I see her for the next treatment in 2 weeks from now I will ask her whether she meant the meridian or the kidney itself. It did scare me when she said my left kidney is not working. I don't need any more health conditions. ________________________________ To: mscured Sent: Thu, June 23, 2011 2:29:28 PM Subject: Re: acupuncture They can pick up a lot from the pulses.
