Hi Ruth,

I'm not Glenda, but I use downspouts and PVC almost exclusively for CP

soaps. For the PVC, bought the plastic cover that goes on the end, and

then tape w/duct tape over that. (It can leak sometimes!)

For downspout, I trace the shape of the opening on a thick piece of

cardboard (notice that I said " thick " ), and then tape that in the end with

the duct tape....lots and lots of it! Be sure you have the vinyl

downspout...I see different kinds on the market, and some of it is metal

with a thin white coating...wouldn't use that one. Mine has a lot of flex

and appears to be all vinyl or plastic.

Everything comes out easily. I chill for about 45 minutes, let set for

about 15, run hot water, and out they come.

The more you use the PVC, the easier it gets, for some reason. And I don't

use any oils, spray, or anything else in the molds.
