Because the link doesn't work? lol ;)

I only just saw it and tried to access the link.....but it doesn't go anywhere

in its current state. I'll work on it tomorrow and see what I come up with. :)

Hello,

I have tried to switch to daily digest for some time and I haven't been

successful. It's been over a week since the first attempt - is this usual?

Researchers are optimistic that neutralizing the cytokine GM-CSF - granulocyte

macrophage colony-stimulating factor - might halt multiple sclerosis in humans,

that has been found in a mouse study The inflammatory cytokine is essential for

development of the disease, explain investigators who made the discovery after

eliminating other inflammatory cytokines as responsible for triggering MS.

Inflammatory cytokine for MS isolated after six years

Researchers from University of Zurich spent six years trying to identify which

inflammatory molecule or cytokine that, released by a subclass of T helper cells

attack the immune system to cause inflammation in the brain and spinal cord,

causing autoimmune diseases like MS, rheumatoid arthritis and juvenile diabetes

or type 1 diabetes

One personal observation regarding MS testing with mice;

We humans worry, fret and stress about gazillions of things in our lives. Let's

all try to chill out a bit - like the mice. If the mind is at ease the body may

follow. Let's keep hope.
