Guest guest
There was a discussion on this list a few weeks ago about the correct (i.e. most accurate) test for Lyme Disease, but I can't find the thread. Can someone resend the information? I have an appointment with a neurologist tomorrow. My regular doctor (clinical epidemiologist) says that the only treatment for LD is antibiotics. I have been following a natural approach up to now (under his direction), so I was surprised at this. So if I actually do have LD, then I want to fix that. The test that I had for LD was done by LabCorp, and the name was: " Lyme Disease Antibodies, IgM " . Here is a description of it: * Methodology:* Enzyme immunoassay (EIA) with pretreatment of specimen to eliminate rheumatoid factor and IgG antibodies which reduce nonspecific cross reactions Thanks, Larry -- " I ask God not for the grace to see what lies ahead but for the grace to accept whatever comes.
