Guest guest
I have a lot of intolerances too. How long would a person have to do a juice or water fast to get all of the intolerances out of their system? Does anyone know? Zoe > > Hello all, > > Sorry I haven't been around much. Same laboratory as before, and the results of last year's test helped me immensely when I couldn't figure out
Guest guest
Chrystal, Sorry to hear about your struggle with food allergies. I know it can be frustrating. Are they mild, moderate or severe? My doctor (a specialist in nutrition) has told me to cut out anything that's a " mild " antibody (IgG ELISA test) for 3-4 months, then introduce it once a week. I was concerned that we weren't testing again before starting the food, but I trusted him and followed his directions. And the food would test negative when I had an ELISA test many months later. Of course new ones would always pop up, but my list isn't that long. I was tested again last month, so I should have some new results in two weeks. If something is a moderate or severe food, then the wait would probably be a long time. I'll know more soon. I had three severe items last time: Aspergillus, milk and tuna. The strange thing is that I didn't eat tuna very often, and it just popped up as a severe. Larry > ** > > > Hello all, > > Sorry I haven't been around much. Guest guest
Hi Zoe, It's a matter of giving the digestive system a complete rest so it can be healed. I would estimate a good month of juice fasting would be in order. My main issue is, with so many intolerances, what exactly am I going to juice?! lol Crystal > > I have a lot of intolerances too. They are enough for me to have symptoms though. I think it's that I'm so sensitive to what's going on, I notice very subtle changes that tell me I'm just not 100%. And having gotten back to 100% before, I just can't be satisfied with less. I'm fortunate that I've managed this well enough that I haven't had a major flare-up or attack in nearly 4 years. I just get little symptoms like a hand going numb or tingling feet or slight changes in my vision for a day or two til the reaction clears out. But I try to stay on top it so that I don't slide down that path to something major. I think I'm going to take my chances with the L-glutamine. I'm also going to get the ELISA done again sooner, instead of waiting another year. I'm going to try to make the best of it and be happy with the fact that I can at least have eggs and carrots once a week again! lol Crystal
Guest guest
I would try liver flushes, it is only a 1 day cleanse, so you don't have to juice or fast etc. You will have to do several of them, but to me that is better than having to fast. And it is better at eliminating allergies than fasting. Just google it. Sent from my iPad > Hi Zoe, > > It's a matter of giving the digestive system a complete rest so it can be healed. Liver flush is one of those things that has been on my list for quite a while, but never got to it. Crystal
