Guest guest
thanks Beth. Tell me more about this fudgsicle and PB. Isn't the fudgsicle a no-no? I have to admit that I haven't read through the book entirely (lack of time) but I don't remember seeing anything about fudgsicles. I would think that my " junk food sensors " would have spotted that immediately. In fact, I try not to go into a grocery store because of all the different foods there that I shouldn't have. It's kinda like the old saying goes -- I want it that much more because I know I can't have it. A friend told me that SBD was not a diet, it was a lifestyle change. I replied that anytime you have to avoid foods you want and eat foods you don't want -- it is a diet. I still feel that way, but I'm slowly changing my mind on SBD. I have to admit that the cravings are starting to die off, but sometimes they get pretty bad. Bet (the lurker) Thought for the day (and the one that keeps me going) -- Courage does not always roar. Sometimes it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying " I will try again tomorrow. " > > > Question -- What does one do about cravings on phase > > 1? Guest guest
Thanks for the info. I think the SF stuff still needs to be checked for sugars like dextrose, sucrose and other natural sugars. Can anyone give direction on this? > > > > > thanks Beth. Guest guest
HA!! That is funny about trying not to go into a grocery store. I work in one! I always say I am like an alcoholic working in a liquor store. I am fortunate that in my store I face the cash registers. Some of the stores have the pharmacies right next to the bakery!! Can you imagine smelling that all day. I am quite fortunate when I want a snack 'cause it is a quick walk away Gail > > thanks Beth. Tell me more about this fudgsicle and PB. Guest guest
Yes, something you only want to have once in awhile. We need to "change-up" our desserts as to not get bored. Try different things and recipes. Don't forget the old standbys like SF jello w/ coolwhip, cottage cheese w/ cinnamon and sweetener. SBeth Rusch wrote: OOOHHH!!!!
