Guest guest
Physio visit last week and gave me the same exercises that I have been doing for over 6 months, attempted to get me up and walking but the clonus/shakes stopped me walking, only when i rise in the morning One of my symptoms occurring is neuro-muscular spasm. Assume both tonic or clonic spasm. Tonic spasm as when the resting muscle tone is abnormally increased. This is often simply apparent as stiffness, when the limb appears rigid and difficult to move despite the absence of absolute paralysis. Clonic spasm is perhaps the most distressing of the two forms as the affects my limbs or muscle may jerk violently without warning, causing me to lose balance and fall. Through reserach the conventional means of treating these symptoms is with drugs including such as Baclofen [tried 0.50 mg x 3 a day up to 20mg x 1 a day with little effect. Tyzanidine i have tried before but not long term as side effects, but willing to try again. Clonazepam 2/3 x .5mg I take at night that settles my legs and allows me to sleep. Your comments greatly appreciated as I am determined to get my legs under control thanks/peter/london/ppms
