Guest guest
I never saw a GI doctor...I had a video swallowing test done thru speech therapy(believe it or not)they also suggested taking 2 small bites then a sip of water, etc.no straws,no gulping of beverages...no mixed consistencies(for example,no milk and cereal)then I see the speech therapist once a month,go over what has worked and what hasn't worked, etc.Hope this helps!! Pam G Subject: Re: swallowing difficulty To: mscured Date: Tuesday, June 21, 2011, 12:33 AM  Swallowing difficulty a common symptom of MS. It's a nerve thing. I would be scared to have scope shooved down my throat too! > > AmI the only one? I can choke on my own spit. I have to break my pills into tiny pieces and spread out eating only nibbles throughout the day. Forget a whole meal at once. It gets scary sometimes.
