Maybe *now*. it neednt have neen 70 yrs ago. Ive a feeling Rabbis

were probably only allowed alcohol specifically because it is used as

an analgesic while performing circumcisions. If so its ironic that

the

only Americans allowed alcohol were babies, to allow a custom that I

know that Ken for one strongly disapproves of.
