yes- that's an hsg- a sonohyst is the saling and ultrasound- but it really won't make a difference- except probably to your insurance coompany- so be sure your Dr has it straight!

Pam: Well if she said sonohystogram then she used the wrong word and

she is confused! When the dye is used it is a hysterosalpingogram

(HSG) and not a sonohyst which uses sterile saline.

The Hysteroscopy is when they go in with a scope (and often a little

camera).
