Mitochondrial Disease Conference

February 28 through March 3, 2001, San Diego, California, at the Hyatt

Islandia in Mission Bay.

This will be a medical and family conference. The medical portion is a joint

meeting between the Mitochondrial Medicine Society and the Mitochondrial

Research Society. The family portion is sponsored by the UMDF and will be

held the weekend of March 2, 2001, at the same hotel.

Child Care is a possibility. Sharon Shaw, our fearless Chapter President,

has checked into this matter. Thank you so much, Sharon!

There IS a room at the hotel that can be rented for use as childcare

Cost per day: $250.00 total $500.00/ 2 day conf.

Per child cost will depend on amount of attendees utilizing childcare.

Babysitting IS available through the hotel... for a fee, of course.

Parents may also take turns watching several children.

Please reply to this list if you're interested. It will not be mentioned in

the conf. flyer but remains a possibility
