Dear friends,

In my local paper, a weekly, yesterday's edition, there is an article, " Connect

during Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Week. " Above that in smaller print it

says, " National Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Week. " I wish you could read the

entire article because there might be other things you would be interested in

besides what I will mention. I went to Google and did a search for MS Awareness

Week and ignored the commercial website at the top and went to the one that said

" MS Awareness Week. " This seems to be a special website that is set up for this

year's effort. I didn't try: news release National MS Society

The article says, " This MS Awareness Week and beyond, find the power of

connection and visit www.MSconnection.org Just some of the opportunities you

will find are as follows:

MS Connection - a new community all about making meaningful connections - when,

where and how you want. Visitors and members will learn about topics that are

important to them, connect with people they want to connect with, have expert MS

information and opinions at their fingertips, and join or start groups and

discussions of their own. " In the next paragraph it says, " Give What You Know -

share your story and connect with others at www.MSconnection.org You can create

your own video story, download web banners, ... "

There are two other items I have been wanting to share with all of you. I think

I have mentioned that you should all get yourselves checked for gluten

sensitivity. The blood tests for gliadin which are routinely given at your

local clinic are, I believe now, totally inadequate because they will detect

only a small percentage of those with gluten sensitivity.

I have been listening to lectures by Dr. O' and looking at written

information on his website, thedr.com He is a chiropractor with a gluten

problem himself and he has taken special interest in this topic and he cites

research throughout his lectures. He talks about autoimmune diseases that are

occurring in gluten sensitive individuals and he names multiple sclerosis as one

of them. He has very good written information on his website. There is a new

lab doing tests called Cyrex Labs. I think I will get Array 2 and Array 3 and

if I test positive to Array 3, I will also do Array 4. My daughter has celiac

disease. Hopefully I don't have it but I want to be sure.

There is a technology that I have recently learned about: Here is a link to the

company website: http://neurocare.com/about-neurocare/

The company has rental programs and " rent to own " programs. If you scroll down

far enough you will come to a list which has multiple sclerosis in it. There

are case histories, too.

Please share this letter with other patients may not be on my mailing list that

you know. Thank you.

Wishing you improved health,

Lillian Hanke
