Guest guest
Hello, thanks very much for the reply with your story... It looks really complicated and tough. I doubt about the fact that I know what I suffer from as well. I dont respond to the IV steroids anymore, and doubt that Rebif is doing me any good as well... My lyme story in brief: Having had " weird " results in the past... Then, jun 2010, a huge red mark on my right leg, not knowing where from. Been there for a month or so. 2 weeks of antibiotics, Deoxymycoine. August, September - IgG + IgM positivity for borelia. October - " MS attack " - lumbar puncture - no borelia found. In blood, positive IgG + IgM by both Western Blot and . PCR negative. ELM negative. A month of antibiotics KLACID. December - still an attack, consulting a lyme specialist, telling me that while in an attack of MS, my immunite response is havoc and that I don't have borelia. PCR for borelia negative. April: another attack of MS (4th in 6 months) Blood tests: EB virus infection IgM borelia ELISA: positive IgM + IgG Western Blot: positive Now, my symptoms are quite managed, apart from tingling in legs, getting exhausted from minor activities and being generally very weak. I wonder if I can find any doctor who is going to understand this and actually help me HEAL. I might have to take it into my own hands again. If the MRI I am going to have shows no progression, then borelia is highly suspectious. Thanks for sharing, it helps a lot to have someone to relate to how I feel. Wish you the best of health, > > > > Thanks. I too am convinced that there is something killing me from the inside out and our medical community diagnosed me with PPMS on 2/1/08. I don't know what evil is in me; parasites, bacteria, virus, heavy metals, etc. but I am on a mission to find out. I have had blood drawn for tests so many times, I'm sick of it. Lyme was one of the first tests. > > >
