Guest guest Posted December 16, 2006 Report Share Posted December 16, 2006 GREEN BEANS WITH ALMONDS Yield: 5 servings Source: " The Complete Diabetes Prevention Plan " Info: http://diabeticgourmet.com/book_archive/details/60.shtml INGREDIENTS - 1 pound frozen French-cut green beans - 1 tablespoon margarine or butter - 3 tablespoons sliced almonds - 1/2 teaspoon dried dill - 1/4 teaspoon salt DIRECTIONS Cook the green beans according to package directions just until tender. Drain off the excess liquid. Place the margarine or butter in a large nonstick skillet and melt over medium heat. Add the almonds and saute for about 1 minute, or just until they begin to turn color (be careful not to burn them). Add the green beans, dill, and salt to the almonds and toss to mix. Serve hot.
