Guest guest
I'm looking for some information on purchasing sunlamps. My doctor recommended that I get a sunlamp and said that I should check Dr. Mercola's website for the type of sunlamp (although I didn't need to buy it from there). He said that if it was only for Vitamin D, then I could get it by increasing my Vitamin D supplementation. Dr. Mercola has two pages about sun lamps, and they both recommend UVA, UVB, Red and Blue light: http://tanningbeds.mercola.com/tanning-beds/standup-tanning-systems.aspx http://tanningbeds.mercola.com/ From the 2nd link above: * The benefits of UV rays that help your body produce just the right amount of vitamin D, without overdose. * Red light in the 633 nm range to reverse wrinkles and help give you more youthful skin. * Infrared light to provide temporary relief of muscle and joint pain, stiffness, and spasm -- and improve blood circulation. * Blue - According to the American Academy of Dermatology, blue light can actually help your skin health. I haven't been able to find any other websites which sell sun lamps that cover all these ranges, and Mercola's sun lamp is $1497. Can anyone point me to another website that has such a sunlamp? Thanks! Larry -- The will of God will never place you where the grace of God can't help you. -- unknown
