Guest guest
Dear Forum Members, Greetings from BNP+. In West Bengal we have two main ART centre. They are one in School Of Tropical Medicine and another one is in North Bengal Medical Collage Hospital. There is some provision of Community Coordinator we have it also. Mainly they will monitor the drop out cases. WBSACS are also planning to establish some link ART Centre in various districts, where we have two link-ART centers are already there. One in Burdwan Medical Collage and another one is in Midnapore District. These are all good steps but my friends what do you think it is not necessary to recruit more Community Coordinator for those particular link ART Centre, because so many blocks are there under one District. It is very difficult to come to collect their ARD from their District Hospital. It has so many reasons, like may be because of financial problem, and may be because of communication problem. But hare I want to focus only on financial problem because most of our member is from BPL level. They earn for their family as daily basis. It is very much important them to focus only for their family rather than their ARD. I think because of these reason they can miss their ARD and drop out cases will increase and also the purpose of the link ARD centre will not serve properly. That is why I would like to request to NACO and WBSACS to think about the Community Coordinator for these Link ARD Centre also.
