Guest guest
I really need help here. I am dealing with a foot ulcer that is excruciating at times. Pain meds don't even help. I have been going to a wound clinic, and it hasn't been helpful, but I continue to go so bandages can be changed. I have been put in various una boots, and the pain gets even worse. I have tried oxygen creams, silver, zinc, and a couple of other things but due to allergies, I am limited. I really need options for pain management. I do have Lidocaine but it doesn't really help. It is 2%. I do put cool towels around my foot, and at times it gives me relief. I elevate, and that doesn't help also. I really need suggestions. Is there any pain medication that works good for this? I am allergice to vicodine and codine. Is there a topical cream anyone knows of that works? Any suggestions greatly appreciated. My doctor says this is normal. That with MS patients you have bad cirulation which causes these, and that because of hyper sensitivity it makes it worse. However, you have to take control. It is your body, and what ever is necessary I can then insist I get help. So please. Thank you.
