Guest guest
In the end, we all paint our own pictures: Many people have no benefit from LDN. The Yahoo LDN board states that LDN is only to slow down the sickness. My MD PhD MS clinical trial neurologist replied when I asked for LDN " I've had a dozen patients on LDN. It wasn't a good experience for anybody " . My integrative physician, who prescribed my first LDN, after a year of taking LDN, and I was losing strength, stated that he had not noticed any benefit to any of his patients. Likely, all of message boards that report good findings of LDN, are stacked in favor of LDN. Why would people repeatedly visit, and post, on a board to share experiences on how a product did not work for them? I have a list of posts from the Yahoo LDN board where patients report LDN not working for them. ask for copies. > > Comments +/- appreciated > > Going with the Swank Diet and nothing else and that includes ldn, vitamins, minerals, supplements > > Been on ldn since 02 december last year and not any improvements, in fact just made my neuro muscular leg problems worse, but i am not saying no to ldn as just got 2 x months supply 3mg, appreciate ldn for long term benefits > > Any reply with regard to the Swank Diet would be appreciated > > Thanks in advance > > Regards//London/PPMS > >

Guest guest
, The Swank MS Diet has been very effective in haulting the progression of my PPMS. I have tried many things. None has been as effective as the Swank diet. I started the diet in June of 2009 and have kept to it strictly since. When I started I kept saturated fat down as near to 0G per day as possible. I have slowly allowed myself up to 10G per day now and still feel fine. Dr. Swank allows up to 20-25G per day. The sat fat I ingest is from processed, manufactured food, which I keep to a bare minimum (cream cheese, chips, etc). Other effective aids are related to psychological (stress) and physiological (exercise). These include meditation and stretching as well as an exercise bike, squats, torso twists and pushups. My Faith has been a huge contributor to my improved well being. Best wishes. We will heal. -Tim > > Comments +/- appreciated > > Going with the Swank Diet and nothing else and that includes ldn, vitamins, minerals, supplements > > Been on ldn since 02 december last year and not any improvements, in fact just made my neuro muscular leg problems worse, but i am not saying no to ldn as just got 2 x months supply 3mg, appreciate ldn for long term benefits > > Any reply with regard to the Swank Diet would be appreciated > > Thanks in advance > > Regards//London/PPMS > >

Guest guest
Hello  I have followed the Swank/ Jelinek diet along with exercise and plenty of time in the sun and additional vitamin D. I also use Copaxone. Not sure which works or maybe I am just lucky but I haven't had a relapse in 10 years.  Bruce To: " mscured " <mscured >; " ms-diet " <ms-diet >; " lowdosenaltrexone " <lowdosenaltrexone >; " LDN_Users " <LDN_Users > Sent: Tuesday, 13 September 2011 6:40 AM Subject: Detox  Comments +/- appreciated  Going with the Swank Diet and nothing else and that includes ldn, vitamins, minerals, supplements  Been on ldn since 02 december last year and not any improvements, in fact just made my neuro muscular leg problems worse, but i am not saying no to ldn as just got 2 x months supply 3mg, appreciate ldn for long term benefits  Any reply with regard to the Swank Diet would be appreciated  Thanks in advance  Regards//London/PPMS

Guest guest
Gentlemen, Congratulations! You have found what works for you. I was diagnosed with PPMS Feb 1, 2008 and I have been in remission for over 2 years (June, 2009). I credit this success to the Swank diet, supplements, daily exercise and a spiritual re-awakening. After a year on Copaxone, I stopped taking it 2 years ago. I have not weened myself off Baclofen yet, but will. I cling to the hope and beleif that 100% recovery is possible. I will relax and accept for today, but ever give up hope. -Tim > > hi bruce, thanks your email, not going with the swank diet after reading the book >  > i am slowly eliminating specific food group over a period of time >  > first to go is dairy, then wheat, yeast etc so gluten free >  > gradually came off baclofen so at moment on no drugs, only a multi vitamin and iodine >  > we'll see >  > regards/peter > > > To: " mscured " <mscured > > Sent: Thursday, 22 September 2011, 10:43 > Subject: Re: Detox > > >  > Hello >  > I have followed the Swank/ Jelinek diet along with exercise and plenty of time in the sun and additional vitamin D.
