Population Foundation of India (PFI)

Population Foundation of India is a non-governmental funding and

promoting organization for developing as well as implementing gender

sensitive population and development policies, plans and programs.

Population Foundation of India is one of the Principal Recipient for

the " Promoting Access to Care and Treatment-PACT " Program of The

Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (Round 6) to

provide care, support and treatment services to people living with

HIV/AIDS (PLHAs) in 8 highly vulnerable states of India for a period

of 5 years.

PFI is interested in recruiting an Assistant Regional Programme

Coordinator, who shall be based in Lucknow for the Global Fund Round

6 " Promoting Access to Care and Treatment " Program. She/he will be

a team member of the Regional team in Lucknow and would be

responsible for effective management and monitoring of the

programme. Postgraduates in social work/social sciences with 5 to 6

years of experience with prior experience in managing health and HIV

programs will be preferred. Knowledge of computers is a MUST.

Proficiency in local language is required. Programme will involve

extensive travel.

In addition to the above, the following traits and qualities would

be expected from the selected candidate:

1. Assists the Project Management Unit in all functions &

operations and to successfully lead the Regional Level operations

for achieving the programme objectives.

• Willing to travel extensively.

3. Reports functionally & administratively to the Sr. Program

Manager.

4. Job Responsibilities would include:

• Assist the Regional Coordinator in day-to-day coordination

of Regional level operations of the programme.

• Along with Regional Coordinator is responsible for

visibility of the Regional office, maintaining records and registers

• Prepare plans for field visit after discussion with Regional

Coordinator

• Supervise the programme implementation in their respective

states and review the activities of each sub-recipient at

state/regional level operation

• Provide necessary support to the team at service delivery

points and the state/regional level team in terms of programme, MIS

and technical areas of the programme.

• Generate monthly MIS reports and finalize them with inputs

from the Regional Coordinator

• Provide all the support to organize and conduct State Level

Coordination meetings

• Any other job as and when entrusted by the Regional

Coordinator

The short listed candidate will be called for an interview at PFI,

New Delhi. The person selected may have to join in a month time

from the date of the offer letter.

Monthly consolidated fee is expected to be Rs. 20,000 to 22,000 per

month.
