It'd be nice if this were always true, but it's not. Many chiari patients have reported significantly increased symptoms after a spinal tap- so we recommend that the patient be sure that it's necessary, be sure that the people performing the procedure have a LOT of experience in doing it, and that they also are aware that the patient is at risk due to their existing chiari malformation. Guest guest
I have had over 20 spinal taps done. I cannot think of one decent experience I had with them. You must have had a very experienced doctor if your tap was comfortable. I also took a tranquilizer before. What would have worked is for them to totally knock me out which they can't do. I had some problems again last year and I cannot tell how happy I was that the doctor didn't want to do a spinal tap but did want to put in my 3rd ventricle shunt. Would you believe I was much happier to do the surgery in my head then do a tap? I guess that tells you how I hate them. Sorry for the folks who are considering having this done for your first time. I'm not a good person to talk to about this. Sorry. (no subject) > spinal taps arent that bad. I asked for some powerful drug to help me relax > and i was fine. Guest guest
know how the vaccine industry pushes the myth that unvaccinated people are somehow a public health threat? That's complete nonsense, of course. The real public health threat comes from people who take antibiotics because they turn into " superbug breeding factories. " Here's my report that flips the quack conventional medical community on its head about who is really a danger to public health: http://www.naturalnews.com/035163_public_health_unvaccinated_antibiotics.html
