Guest guest
Hello, I've been on LDN for slightly more than 3 years (since diagnosis) and have been following the Best Bet Diet with pretty good success... at least until I started experiencing extreme stress. I wound up in a bit of a flare up and in my weakened state agreed to a small dose of steroids. The doctor I've been seeing has been pushing and pushing and pushing the Avonex and I'm not going to allow it. I am finding that his constant pressure to take Avonex and his two-faced behavior (a long story - not appropriate for here) has affected my outlook and ability to fight this condition. I have become overwhelmed with fear for my future and have been second guessing myself even though I have been doing so well until now. Please share your success stories and support for a natural protocol - I've somehow got to get back my positive attitude and get well again. I have noticed a direct correlation between my mood/mental state and symptoms. Thank you for any support you can provide.
Guest guest
Hi, I've heard some others say this hasn't helped them much, but I found that the Planetary Herbals Myelin Sheath Support, a good fish oil, and L-lysine has helped keep the inflamation down and keeps my exacerbations at bay fairly well. Of course I take a whole bunch of other supps, but these I feel are the most important (for me anyway) as when I missed them for a week or so, my symptoms start rising noticably until I get back on these. I also found that while I tend to get almost instant change, on a cumulative basis it seems to work better and better as time goes on. Hope that helps.
