So, after quitting antiperspirants, I tried the Thai Crystals - but even they have aluminum in it, though a lot less than your 'normal' antiperspirants. I also found that it worked - okay. Guest guest
http://www.livestrong.com/article/278326-how-to-use-coconut-oil-as-a-sunscreen-d\ eodorant/ - I make my own deodorant using coconut oil, and it works awesome! I use aluminum free baking soda, coconut oil, arrowroot flour (instead of cornstarch) and a few drops of teatree oil. Everyone I have made this for and has tried it...LOVES it! It kills all the bacteria under there, so there is absolutely no smell, even my husband uses it. It still allows you to sweat (which means your body can still release toxins in this way, and it's not clogging your pores). I like the idea of the CS, and it probably works in a very similiar way, killing the bacteria under the arm. Just thought I'd throw it out there something else that works really well too, that is all natural...and it will work instantly. ) ----- Antiperspirants Date: Fri, 18 May 2012 10:10:10 -0400 (EDT) <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC " -//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN " " http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd " > I've been looking for a good antiperspirant since I realized one of the biggest changes I needed to make was to eliminate man-made chemicals from my body. I tend to work very closely to others when I go on-site with a client. So, I've become very conscious about it since I can't use deodorant anymore. And, was out on a trip lately, and the only thing I had was Colloidal Silver (CS). So, I dabbed a bit under each arm, and the first day, odor was definitely reduced. 2nd day, when I did the same, reduced further. By the 3rd day, odor is basically gone, although I haven't gone out and 'worked in the heat of day' as a further test. So now, I use it daily - going on 2 weeks now, and odor is pretty much gone, or VERY low level! I found this seems to work extremely well for a normal work environment. So now I have a sprayer, just a couple quick sprays in the morning and it seems to work really well (90%, not 100%) through the entire day. Not the cheapest thing to use, unless you make your own CS, but I'll take it over 'regular' antiperspirants any day. Just wanted to pass that on and see if anyone else has tried it and found it worked for them too...... JimT
