Guest guest
Hi Amy. I just read your post. You are right, all you will need in August in AZ is shorts! Oh, and a swim suit! It must be hard to pack...good thing you are thinking ahead, I am sure you will be very prepared and the move will go smoothly. In August, we get our monsoon storms,so, I will pray there are no storms until you get settled and I have my baby. Occasionaly, they cause the power lines to go down. I pray that doesn't happen, I am going to be needing my air conditioning! I can't wait until you move here. I would love to visit you! Of course, I will probably have to wait until a month or two after I have the baby. That should give you time to get settled too. See how I already invited myself over. :-) Take care,
Guest guest
Hey Amy, Sorry you had such a boring night, I know what you mean about sitting there going crazy! My husband works long hours and often has nightly meetings, I didn't mind so much when I had the energy to run around and the confidence to work out (afraid to exercise until after I'm out of the 1st trimester). There's a million things that need to be done in our house, but I just don't have the energy or motivation to do them (we just finished renovating our house and there's still a few rooms that are a disaster)! I have an idea! I read an article in the Martha baby magazine that showed how one mother took her daughter's favorite clothes and made a quilt out of them - it was really adorble! You can take things that are really worn that you won't use again (you only need to make little granny squares, then sew them all together). That could keep you busy for a really long time!!!!! LOL!!! maria
Guest guest
, Invite yourself over all you want!! ) Nobody told me anything about storms... not even my friend who lived there last year... She probably didn't want to scare me. Luckily, I won't have to do alot of packing, mainly just what I'll be bringing with me. We're going to have movers do it this time (we wanted to last time, but it was too short notice). The unpacking will be the pain... kind of nice, though, since I haven't seen some of my stuff since last August. I'm very anxious to have MY sofa and MY chair again. Don't really care as much about the kitchen table, but my living room furniture is the big thing... should have time to help me get unpacked also, so that would be good. Mentally, I'm SOOOOO ready to move... but physically, won't be anywhere near ready until gets here. I'm still having a hard time trying to decide what I need to bring with me. I don't really need to concentrate on that for a while, though. I'm just hoping I don't go crazy waiting. I'm ready to just jump right into August. Hopefully the time will start speeding by soon. Guest guest
, actually i have considered making a quilt for this baby's bedding. I just don't know if I'd ever finish it... Guest guest
Hey Amy, You can start the quilt, we'll close our eyes and wake up in August, then we'll both be much happier!!!!! maria Re: hey Hey Amy, Sorry you had such a boring night, I know what you mean about sitting there going crazy!
