Guest guest
Here's copy of a letter from the YOG CEO that I found on a public board: July 9, 2001 TO: ALL YOG GENIES FROM: Carole Ciraulo, CEO Your Office Genie Dear Genies, There is no good way to say this, but I have done a great deal of soul searching, and I find that I feel it is time to retire. I have always been a person who firmly believes that they should quit while they are ahead...and I feel that we at Your Office Genie ARE ahead. We are, without a doubt, the best service in America. Taking the business to the next level will be a challenge with new HIPPA rules and other factors. Personally, I do not feel I can face up to that challenge at this time in my life. Approximately a year and a half ago one of my friends sold her service to Medquist. We are in constant contact and she has told me repeatedly that Medquist has treated all of her employees, both in house and at home, fairly and have in many ways offered better benefits than I do. Medquist has made it possible for me to think about time off after 39 plus years. I need this and I need to spend some quality time with Joe, my children and my grandchildren. Knowing how some of you feel and knowing what your first reaction will be..I am going to implore you, please give Medquist a chance...for me. They have indicated that they will retain all of our present staff and this company will continue to run as it is. The management team Joe and I have in place; Steve, Kathy and Peggy and everyone else will continue to be here for you. Payroll will be handled in house, and you may continue to direct all of your questions in this regard to Yerica and Eileen. I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your loyalty and all you have done for Joe and I. Please be happy for us--I, especially need a little peace and quiet at the end of a long, long, road. A fond goodbye, Carole
