LYME has been around a long time...

I wish all those drs who don't believe lyme exists could see the PBS special i

saw last night.

 

a 5000 (yes 5,000) year old mummified body (dubbed the ICE MAN) was discovered

on the border near Italy.

He was found by some hikers.   he had been encased in several feet of ice

all this time which preserved him. 

his stomach was intact and still had its contents.  he ate a wheat-like grain

and meat.  the scientists were also able to get his DNA.

 

they found he had arthritis type of problems in his joints and several other

signs that showed he

had LYME DISEASE.  

 

so there, all those naysayer drs.  LYME DISEASE IS REAL and has existed at

least 5,000 years. 

The Iceman had Lyme Disease :

“Perhaps most surprising, researchers found the genetic footprint of bacteria

known as  Borrelia burgdorferi  in his DNA—making the Iceman the earliest

known human infected by the bug that causes Lyme disease . â€
