Guest guest
Absolutely, yes, but i've not found any solution. I asked my neuro about using Lupron to stop estrogen production, but he felt that it was not a good idea. I'd love to hear from others who have found help with this. Guest guest
Zoe and samantha, i was wondering the same thing. I am peri menopausal have noticed more weakness and heaviness in my legs but also could be' for other famous reasons such as heat and stress. I do strongly suspect hormonal imbalances though. I even bought a vitamin and mineral support For menopause the other day. I am at the end of my period right now and i feel especially heavy in my legs. I will wait some more time and see if it passes with these new estrogen loss support supplements i am taking. This is very new to' me. Excuse me if i sound confused. I have much to' learn. Guest guest
I increase the amount of prokarin I take to help decrease the symptoms, otherwise I can barely move. Increasing the patch makes me function better. I do realize others are not on the patch. However I still see good effects for me. Subject: Re: MS Symptom increase during menstruation? Guest guest
Hi, My wife Sandi has a marked increase in her symptoms 2 days before her period starts. Usually by the 2nd day of her period her symptoms tail off again. Sadly we don't have a solution (yet!). Sandi's mate has 4 kids - she loves it when she is pregnant because all of her symptoms disappear! Cheers, Pinda > > Do any other pre-meopausal women here experience an increase in MS symptoms right before and during the menstrual period? > > If so, have you found any solutions? > > Zoe >

Then I started taking Evening Primerose 500mg Soft gels 3 times a day on daily basis and then the symptoms started getting better. Guest guest
I was only diagnosed in May, so I am still identifying symptoms and the variable that bring them on or make them worse, as well as what can help. I had the worst heat sensitivity this August. I had been in Hawaii for 10 days and never had a sensitivity, yet here at home in So Cal I get nausea, headaches, general lethargy and fatigue. Since your original post on this I wondered if I also have PMS sensitivity and alas I had the presence of mind(a difficult thing with my cog setbacks) to relate my current symptoms of fatigue , nausea, headaches, & pre spasm tention( I relieve w baclofen) with MY MS. My symptoms are very similar to the same I suffer in heat. I can't grasp how hormones couldn't play an enormous role in MS control because women are protected in pregnancy. Dxd May 2011 Taking Copaxone since July 2011, Vitamin D, SUPERFOODS powder from Dr Schulze Current Symptoms, cognitive attention and memory issues bladder infections decidely(for now) MS related, chronic yeast infections still unexplained, heat sensitivity Original Symptoms, parathesis from toes to waist _treated IV solumel steroids- 8 weeks later normal sensation regained bladder infections unexplained, chronic yeast infections unexplained Transverse myelitis in MRI, 12 lesions in brain MRI
