Guest guest
Thanks. We lost all ours last winter but it sounds like it is worth trying again.Do you attribute your walking to aloe vera?Well done phJanet To: mscured From: jozefisgood@... Date: Mon, 4 Jun 2012 22:32:23 -0700 Subject: Aloe Vera Aloe Vera. Personally it gives me strength. It is a proven anti-inflammatory, it potentiates blood oxygen, stabilizes blood sugar, among many things. A study published on pubmed indicates that aloe vera attenuates MS induced in mice. It is a worthwhile search to google 'aloe vera multiple sclerosis benefits'. I use the fresh gel right from the living plant. Two tablespoons a day. Split the leaf open, scrape gel out with a spoon. discard outer green skin(contains latex). put in blender with a little water add stevia or coconut milk to taste. I found it interesting that to induce MS in the mice they administered the myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein and then pertussis toxin! Funny how they know EXACTLY what causes it...... I am now walking. Shaky on the left leg, but walking. No walker, no crutches. Stairs are tough, but even one at a time feels so good to be able to do. ph
Guest guest
No Tom, I have never tried freeze-dried aloe vera. I have tried many aloe juices and drinks. The only thing that seems to do it for me is the real plant. Yes, I grow them. I have about 2 dozen of them (my only type of houseplant). I would be interested in trying the freeze-dried alow product, but I'm wondering if the muccopolysaccaride chains would be intact?? I think that is why the " pure " aloe drinks I tried didn't do much for me. Raw and unprocessed is always best. Janet, aloe really helps me but I attribute my improvement to implementing many of the good natural things and ideas freely shared by people like those on this group. I think the flavenoids I get from the whole organic lemons also plays a big role. As does the organic coconut oil, and coconut water right out of the young coconut. I do use a lot of organic, unsalted, uncolored butter, that is to ensure I get enough butyric acid. I also stir almond oil into cottage cheese and eat that. Hanna Kroeger in her book 'God Helps Those Who Help Themselves' claims that it helps the body to produce it's own natural interferon. ph
Guest guest
Hi All, I found it interesting that some has posted abuot Aloe Vera. I have just started using Aloe Vera Gel - the one I use is produced by the largest producer of Aloe in the World - a company called Forever - and it is organically grown. The gel in the bottle is literally the stuff from inside the plant. I am excited about having found it, especially as it seems to be benefitting other people. Let me know if you would like more info. Best wishes to everyone. Frances >
Guest guest
Hi ph Apart from wanting to come and live where you live having fresh coconuts to eat Thank you for your post. I wondered where I'd heard of Hanna Kroeger- then I remembered Ginger Bowler (who used to work with HK) she has a great story about her learning. So do you do any energy work on yourself at all? I'll be taking a look on amazon to see if the book is still available. Thanks > ..... I think the flavenoids I get from the whole organic lemons also plays a big role.
